In a press statement signed by the Head of Corporation Communications of the Kaduna Inland Revenue Service, KADIRS,
Zakari Jamilu Muhammad, it stated that:
The Acting Executive Chairman of Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service Mr. Jerry Adams, Monday 9th September, 2023 held the monthly Local Government Revenue Committees review meeting.
The meeting is in accordance with the cardinal objective of the Management Team of the Service to boost revenue generation for both the State and the Local Governments.
In his remarks, the Ag. Executive Chairman Mr. Jerry Adams urged all the 23- Local Government Revenue committees to work together as a team with their money agents in a bid to assiduously attain the desire revenue generation and collection from the Local Government Councils.
The meeting is aimed at reviewing the revenue operation strategies, revenue collection, challenges and way forward in enhancing revenue generation at the local Government Areas.
Presence at the meeting includes; The Executive Director Revenue Operations Dr. Muhammad Lawal, Director Revenue Operations Hajiya Asma’u Inuwa Mora, Director Area Revenue Coordination Mr. Ishaku Mazangona and Head of Local Government Revenue Coordination Mr. Richard Bature.
