In a press statement signed by the Senior Legislative Aide to Hon. Daniel Amos, Member Representing Jema’a-Sanga Federal Constituency, Hon. Samuel Shamaki, stated that, the political structure of Hon. Ado Dogo led by Hon. Hamisu Tijani dissociated itself from his (Ado Dogo’s) decision to leave the PDP and pledged their unflinching support to the party.
The press statement, reads in parts: the entire political structure of the Hon. Ado Dogo led by the Chairman of his political structure, Hon. Hamisu Tijani paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Daniel Amos, Member representing Jema’a and Sanga Federal Constituency.
According to them, the purpose of the visit was to pledge their loyalty & commitment to the PDP, as well as the success of the members in the constituency.
The leader of the team expressed disappointment over Hon. Ado’s exit, describing it as unfortunate and also an act of ungratefulness.
He noted that Hon. Ado Dogo exited the party after being a beneficiary of the PDP which gave him its ticket to serve three consecutive terms at the House of Representatives, and also as a Commissioner and member of the State Executive Council for two years.
He clarified that the decision of Hon. Dogo to leave the party was personal, and not in any way with the endorsement of former members of his political structure and / or campaign council.
“We do not have any reason to leave the party because of the numerous benefits that accrued to us as a people and also the constituency over the years through the PDP, not to talk of the good job that the current member is doing that is making every member of the party proud,” said Hamisu Tijani.
So, this is the reason we have come to publicly tell the whole world that Hon Dogo is leaving the party alone, and we have no plans of joining him.
Other members of the entourage include Hon. Usman Zakaria Yau, former DG to Hon Ado’s Campaign Team, Hon. Samaila Garba Koyos, State Officer & Adviser to the Campaign Council, Alhaji Ado Muhktari, former Vice Chairman,  PDP Jemaa & Coordinator Jemaa LG, Amabo Yusuf Campaign Coordinator, Sanga LG, Hon. Sabo Kisabo, Chairman  Gidan Waya Ward (Hon Ado Dogo’s ward), Hon. Timothy Musa, a stakeholder and one of the confidantes to Hon. Ado Dogo, Hon. Idris Yahaya  Aboro, a key stakeholder and member of the Hon. Ado Dogo’s campaign council, Hon. Jacob Luka Nzalo (Durector) and John Ciroma, who were also members of the defunct campaign council.
In his response, the Member representing the Jemaa/Sanga Federal Constituency thanked them for coming and also applauded their decision to remain in the party, describing it as a welcome development. He assured them that he would carry them along as long as he serves as their member & representative.
He also encouraged them to always advise in any way that would add value to the party and to feel free to continue serving the party and their various communities.
He promised that he would not disappoint them and that by God’s grace, he would make them and the entire constituency proud.
In their separate remarks, the Stakeholders Chairman of Jema’a LG, Hon. Edward Percy Masha and party Chairmen of Sanga and Jema’a LGAs, Hon Nehemiah  Bawa & James Nji, respectively, who were part of the Hon Dan Amos’ delegation that received the visitors commended them for standing with the party despite the exit of their principal, and also assured them of fair & equal participation in all the party’s activities.
