The 1st Dujjiman Matasan Arewa, Mr. Gideon Jock has called on Northern youth to priotise education and also enjoined wealthy individuals to invest positively on the youth of the region so that they can develop themselves and be useful to themselves, their families and the nation at large.
Dujjiman Matasan Arewa made these comments when he hosted a few friends and well wishers to a dinner at his country home in kwoi, Jaba Local Government Area, Kaduna South Senatorial District of Kaduna State.
He added that the youth are the fulcrum of development and that no nation will make any meaningful progress without a vibrant, skillful, and intellectual youth that will serve as the building blocks of development.
Until the youth are engaged, meaningfully, they will continue to stall progress. So, it is more cost-effective to invest resources in such a manner that will make them realise their talents and skills at a very young age.
In the citation of Jock, Arewa Youth Forum described him as “a visionary leader.”
They further said he is a visionary leader whose unwavering commitment to peace, unity, and good governance has left an indelible mark on our society.
