Following the dastard incident that bedevilled the sleeping community of
Ambe, Numana Chiefdom of Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Senator Sunday Marshall Katung representing kaduna South Senatorial Zone and Hon. Daniel Amos representing Jema’a/Sanga Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives visited Ambe and condole with the people over the attack on their peace-loving community.
The federal lawmakers empathised with the victims families: those who sustained injuries as well as the families of the six innocent citizens who were killed by the terrorists.
Gurara Accord gathered that, the terrorists invaded the community around 7pm on Sunday, May 5th, 2024, killing six persons and injuring others.
It is terrible and pathetic that these attacks haven’t been abated, SenatorKatung said. He added: More worrisome is the fact that it is the rainy season where our rural dwellers are concentrating on their farms. Attacks like these could pose serious challenges to our quest toward food sufficiency which our security needs to tackle
Also, we will collaborate and engage with whoever we can to ensure that lasting peace returns to the community and other communities in our Senatorial District.
