Senator Sunday Marshall Katung representing Southern Kaduna Senatorial Zone on Monday, 1st June distributed assorted fertilizer in Zonkwa to widows, orphans and disabled persons across the 8 local government areas in the senatorial district to mark his one year in office.

According to the federal lawmaker, “I urge everyone saddled with the responsibility of distributing the fertilizer to ensure that the fertilizer reaches the desired population. This is the first badge. Another badge is coming soon,” he said.
The exercise is to ameliorate the suffering faced by the less privileged farmers, boost food production, and curb the menace of food insecurity.

Chairman of Zango-Kataf LGA, Hon. Francis Zimbo Sani stated that the fertilizers are for the widows, orphans, and the disabled. please don’t sell it, make use of it. On behalf of all the beneficiaries, I’m thanking the senator for this kind gesture and the things he intends to do in the future.

He has assisted our children financially in school, and during sallah, he shared rice to the Muslim Ummah, the Chairman of Jama’atu nasril islam(JNI)Zango-Kataf LGA, Idi Tella, said.
PDP stakeholders Chairman of Kaura LGA, Saleh Pashi spoke on behalf of all the stakeholders of zone 3. He advised all the party’s stakeholders to go above self-interest and allowed the fertilizer to get to the designation group of people. So that what the senator want to achieve should come to fruition.
