The governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani’s Rural Transformation Agenda has been given a boost, yesterday, at the ground breaking ceremony for the reconstruction of the 21.95-kilometer Madauchi to Kafanchan road held at Tsoriyang, Zangon Kataf Local Government Area of the State.
He lamented the infrastructural deficits he met when he assumed office in 2023, and vowed his administration’s determination to take development to every community in the State, especially roads, which is key to his agenda of rural transformation.

The governor said that when completed, the road will ease farmer’s difficulty in transporting agricultural products to markets, reduce post-harvest losses, and cut travel time between Zonkwa and Kafanchan. Sani assured that rural economies will be revitalised to open up hard to reach communities for the overall good of the state.

The Senator representing Kaduna South Senatorial district, Barrister Sunday Marshall Katung, commended the prompt response of Governor Uba Sani, through a phone call he made for the reconstruction of the collapsed bridge at Tsoriyang, and the general state of the road.Katung commended the Governor for displaying leadership attributes towards the people in the State, especially in Southern Kaduna, in view of the many years of skewed projects implementation and citing of projects by the immediate past administration.
He said it is time for governance and appreciated that the Governor has accepted the people in the zone as his own and pledged their support to the current administration.

Chairman of Zango Kataf Local Government Council, Mr. Francis Sani, appreciated Governor Uba Sani for his gesture towards the Local Government Area since he came to power in 2023.Sani noted that the road construction will go a long way in alleviating the hardship that farmers and commuters have been exposed to due to its degradation.
