The Nigerian Army, today, 21st December, 2024, buried the 7 soldiers that were killed by bandits while on duty in Maro, Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

The burial which took place at the cemetry of the Nigerian Defense Academy (NDA), Kaduna where the NA gave their last rest to the deposed souls of the personnel who died in the cause of the ongoing war against banditry, terrorism and other forms of criminalities in Nigeria.

For the benefit of hindsight, on the 12th December this year, bandits killed 7 Soldiers, abducted 1 and carted away guns belonging to the NA in a renewed attack in Maro general area of Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Gurara Accord gathered that, some of the locals in Chibiya 2, Banikawo 2, Gabachuwa, Gidan Hassan and Mai Ido communities that borders Maro provided vital information to the bandits on the movement of the Soldiers, which made them soft target.
