The Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State, Emmanuel Agbadu Akabe, who represented the governor, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule said, “Late James Kura “lived a life of Godliness, modesty and charity.”

The President of the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) International, Dr. Job Ayuba Bagat Mallam described Late Magajin Rafi Jaba as an exceptional human being who loved God, loved people irrespective of where you come from.

He went further, “Baba was a unifier. He was a person who loved peace. You could see it throughout his entire system.

The entire ECWA community has lost him, but heaven has gained. For us who he left behind, we should emulate Baba and champion his cause.”

Baba’s daughter, Barr. Dr. Deborah Usman, Jakadiya Jaba, said, “I see today as a day to celebrate and not to mourn.” Baba had lived with us for 81 years, which was a rare privilege. He not only lived for 81 years, but he lived a fulfilled life. Baba lived a Christian exemplary life, a man full of humility and a kindhearted man. A man who cared for his community. Indeed, he was selfless.
