The PDP Angle D Accord group has reaffirmed its total support for Distinguished Senator (Barr.) Sunday Marshall Katung, the lawmaker representing the Kaduna South Senatorial District at the National Assembly.
This declaration was made during an emergency meeting held in Jos, where members of the group unanimously passed a resolution backing Senator Katung’s continued representation of the peaceful people of Southern Kaduna.
In a statement jointly signed by the group’s Convener, Hon. Habila Yohanna (Inuwan Kussom), and Co-Convener, Dr. Bala Gideon Duniya (Honoris Causa), the group described recent criticisms against the Senator as baseless and politically motivated.
They called on the general public to disregard faceless groups spreading falsehoods on social media, saying such elements are “political bandits” whose only goal is to destabilize the region.
“We challenge anyone making accusations against Senator Katung to show their faces and come forward with evidence. These shadowy groups exist only online and serve no real constituency,” the statement read.
The Angle D Accord praised Senator Katung’s dedication, accessibility, and service delivery, particularly his efforts in attracting federal presence and ensuring quality representation for Southern Kaduna.
“We will not allow distractions from any quarter. Senator Katung remains a beacon of hope and development for our people,” the group affirmed.
They urged the people of Kaduna South, the entire state, and Nigerians at large to continue supporting Senator Katung in the Red Chamber.
