Senator Barrister Sunday Marshall Katung, representing Kaduna South Senatorial District, joined mourners today at the funeral service of the late Mama Rahila Ishaya Habu Bagaiya in Samban Gida, Jaba Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Accompanied by the Kaduna State PDP Chairman, Hon. Edward Percy Masha, Senator Katung paid his respects to the late Mama Rahila, a former Women Leader of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Jaba LGA, who passed away on June 11, 2025, at the age of 61.
In an emotional tribute, Senator Katung described Mama Rahila as a woman of strong character and unwavering dedication to service.
“Mama Rahila’s unwavering dedication, compassion for service, and visionary leadership left an indelible mark on our communities. We remember her tireless efforts to empower others, foster growth, and drive positive change,” he said.
He further lauded her legacy of strength, resilience, and grace, noting that her contributions to the PDP and the broader community would not be forgotten.
Senator Katung offered prayers for God’s comfort upon her family and loved ones, urging them to take solace in the life of impact she lived.
