In a ceremony held earlier today, the Students Bar Association of the Law Students Society (LSS), Bingham University, Karu, honoured Distinguished Senator Sunday Marshall Katung with an Award of Recognition for his outstanding contributions to leadership, lawmaking, and youth empowerment.

Representing the Senator at the event was his Legislative Aide, Barr. Gambo Zango, who stood in for him at the launch of The Frontier—a special magazine edition solely dedicated to the senator’s life of service and public impact.

The award and magazine launch, held at the university campus in Karu Local Government Area, served as a resounding testament to Senator Katung’s enduring commitment to reaching diverse groups and responding to the yearnings of Nigerians across various sectors.

In his remarks, Barr. Zango described the recognition as “a reflection of the Senator’s consistent engagement with the aspirations of the people, particularly the youth and the academic community.”

The event drew the participation of students, faculty members, and invited guests, all of whom commended Senator Katung for his people-centered approach to governance and youth development.
