The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) has commended Senator Sunday Marshall Katung, the Senator representing Kaduna South Senatorial District, for his unwavering commitment to the growth of the Federal School of Statistics, Manchok in Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
In a letter of appreciation dated June 16, 2025, and signed by the Statistician-General of the Federation, Prince Adeyemi Adeniran, the Bureau expressed gratitude for the senator’s recent donations, describing it as a testament to his commitment to education, sustainable infrastructure, and public service.
It will be recalled that Senator Katung donated solar-powered streetlights, a solar-powered borehole, and a fully equipped digital learning centre—facilities that are expected to enhance safety, promote access to clean water, and improve the digital learning experience for both students and staff.
According to NBS, Senator Katung’s recent donations, comprising solar-powered streetlights, a solar-powered borehole, and a fully equipped digital learning centre, reflects not only his deep commitment to educational advancement but also display his dedication to improving the lives of his constituents through sustainable infrastructure and learning resources.
