The Kaduna State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced the suspension of its State Secretary, Hon. Sa’idu Adamu, over alleged gross misconduct and anti-party activities.
According to a statement issued on Monday by the State Publicity Secretary, Hon. Maria Dogo, the decision was taken by the State Working Committee (SWC) and subsequently ratified by the State Executive Committee (SEC) during a meeting held at the party’s secretariat in Kaduna.

The suspension, which takes immediate effect, is expected to last for one month pending the conclusion of investigations into the allegations. During this period, Adamu is barred from participating in any party activity at all levels.
Dogo stated that the disciplinary action was taken in line with Articles 58(1)(h) and 57(3) of the PDP Constitution (2017 as amended), which empower the party to sanction members found to have engaged in acts contrary to its interests.
“The PDP wishes to assure its members and the general public that the party remains resolutely committed to upholding internal discipline, fairness, and justice under the able leadership of the State Chairman, Sir Edward Percy Masha,” the statement read in part.
She added that the ongoing efforts of the State Working Committee are aimed at strengthening the party’s internal structures and ensuring accountability across all levels of leadership.
