The Orah Bayit Foundation has celebrated the second anniversary of its Play & Excel Initiative, a programme dedicated to nurturing confidence, leadership and character development among children through play-based learning.
Speaking at the anniversary event held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, the Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation thanked partners, volunteers, parents, the media and the participating children for their unwavering support in building what she described as “a movement of hope and transformation.”
The CEO noted that the initiative, which began as a simple idea centred on the power of play, has grown into a platform that helps children learn, heal and develop essential life skills. Over the past two years, she said, the programme has witnessed remarkable progress, from shy children finding their voices to young girls embracing leadership roles and facilitating group activities.
She emphasized that the success of the Play & Excel Initiative reflects the collective effort of the community, noting that “it takes a whole village to raise a child.” According to her, consistent mentorship, supportive partnerships and parental involvement have shaped the children’s growth and turned the initiative into a safe space for learning and empowerment.
As the Foundation marks this milestone, the CEO reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening mentorship programmes, enhancing the sports curriculum and building new partnerships to expand its impact. She urged parents, volunteers, partners and stakeholders to continue working together to create purposeful futures for children, stressing that “every child deserves a chance to discover their strength, and every girl deserves a platform to shine.”
The event concluded with a renewed pledge by the Orah Bayit Foundation to keep raising confident, responsible leaders by giving children opportunities to play, learn and excel.
