Apostle Emmanuel Bako, today we stand together to honour you for your life and work, which have strengthened the Church in Kaduna State and far beyond. The Apostle Emmanuel Bako Unity Cup carries your name because it reflects the spirit you have carried for many years, a spirit that brings believers together and teaches us to walk as one family in Christ.

You have given yourself to bridge the gap between generations. Many of us here, both young and old, have been shaped by your steady guidance. You have spoken hope into places where hope was faint, and you have built bridges where there were once distances. Your ministry has never been limited to a pulpit. You have been a father, a shepherd, and a defender of the faith at moments when it mattered most.
We honour you today not only for your public service, but also for the quiet sacrifices that many never see. The long nights of prayer. The counsel you have given to strengthen tired hearts. The courage to speak truth with compassion. The patience to carry people through their seasons of weakness. These things cannot be measured, yet they remain some of your greatest gifts to the body of Christ.

As your tenure draws toward its close next year, we receive this moment with gratitude. The seed you have planted in this land will continue to bear fruit long after titles and positions have passed on. Your work has helped unite churches, restore trust, and raise a generation that knows how to honour those who have gone before them.
Apostle, we want you to know that we see your labour. We feel the weight you have carried. We recognise the price you have paid to hold the Church together. Your life has drawn us closer to Christ and to one another, and for that we are deeply grateful.
It is with this heart that we present to you the Defender of the Christian Faith Award. It is a small symbol of a very large legacy. May the Lord strengthen you, keep you, and multiply the grace upon your life in the years ahead.
God bless you, Apostle Emmanuel Bako.
