The Federal School of Statistics, Manchok (FSSMKD), has received a major boost in its access to clean water following the provision of a solar-powered borehole facilitated by the Senator representing Southern Kaduna Senatorial District, Barr. Sunday Marshall Katung.

The intervention, completed this week, addresses a long-standing challenge faced by the institution, which had struggled for years to secure a reliable water source for students and staff.

According to community members and school authorities, the facility marks a significant improvement in the campus environment and aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which prioritizes essential infrastructure in educational institutions.

Senator Katung, known for his responsive and people-centered leadership, was said to have acted swiftly after receiving reports of the school’s water scarcity. The installation of the solar-powered borehole is expected to provide a sustainable, uninterrupted water supply and enhance overall sanitation and learning conditions.

Staff and students expressed gratitude for the gesture, describing it as timely and transformative.

Residents of Southern Kaduna continue to commend Senator Katung’s developmental strides, noting that such impactful interventions further strengthen their resolve to support his mandate and encourage continuity in the years ahead.
