The Senator representing Kaduna South Senatorial District, Barrister Sunday Marshall Katung, has received a delegation from Project C.U.R.E., a United States-based humanitarian organisation, as part of efforts to strengthen healthcare delivery in the zone.

The delegation, led by Rose Polycarp, a US-based registered nurse, is currently in Southern Kaduna to conduct on-the-spot assessments of selected medical facilities across the district.
Project C.U.R.E. is an international non-profit organisation dedicated to improving healthcare systems through the provision of medical equipment, medical supplies and capacity-building support.
During the visit, the team inspected Kagarko General Hospital, Kachia General Hospital and General Hospital, Gwantu. The delegation is also scheduled to visit General Hospital, Zonkwa, and Sir Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa Hospital in Kafanchan.

Speaking on the purpose of the visit, Senator Katung said the assessment was aimed at evaluating infrastructure, operational readiness and critical facility needs within healthcare institutions in the senatorial district.
He noted that the partnership aligns with the ongoing efforts of Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, CON, to improve healthcare delivery across the state, and also complements the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
According to the senator, the initiative is targeted at addressing pressing healthcare challenges facing communities in Southern Kaduna and enhancing access to quality medical services.
Senator Katung expressed appreciation to Project C.U.R.E. for its support and commitment to improving healthcare outcomes in the district.
“This partnership reflects our shared resolve to strengthen healthcare systems and ensure better medical services for our people,” he said.
