Gideon Agwom Mutum has clarified that his position on the Kaduna State University (KASU), Kafanchan Campus, should not be misconstrued as opposition to the administration of Governor Uba Sani.

In a statement on Thursday, Mutum said his advocacy for the revitalization and effective functioning of the Kafanchan Campus is driven purely by concern for education, development, and the collective interest of Kaduna State.

He reaffirmed his full support for Governor Uba Sani, stressing that his loyalty to the administration remains firm and unquestionable. However, he noted that genuine loyalty must always be anchored in service to God, the people, and the long-term interests of the state.

Mutum explained that constructive engagement and sincere calls for improvement should be viewed as positive contributions to governance rather than acts of opposition or antagonism.

He urged all stakeholders to avoid unnecessary misinterpretations or distractions that could divert attention from the shared responsibility of strengthening public institutions. According to him, the KASU Kafanchan Campus requires focused attention, collaboration, and practical solutions to enable it fulfill its mandate for the benefit of the people and the future of Kaduna State.
