The member representing Jema’a/Sanga Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rep. Daniel Amos, has congratulated four outstanding graduates of the Faculty of Law, Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, who bagged First-Class honours.
Amos described the academic feat as a product of hard work, discipline and commitment to excellence, saying the graduates had distinguished themselves among their peers and provided an inspiring example for young people across Kaduna State and Nigeria.
The four First-Class graduates are Shimnah Daniel Sabo and Rosemary Obadiah Mamman, from Kauru and Sanga Local Government Areas of Kaduna State respectively; Fatima Mua’zu from Zamfara State; and Ebere Franklin Cisom from Imo State.
Representing Rep. Amos at the occasion, the member representing Jema’a Constituency in the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Hon. Ali Kalat, commended the lawmaker for his leadership qualities and commitment to education and youth development.
Kalat described Amos as a detribalised leader who continues to encourage young people to pursue excellence irrespective of their ethnic or geographical backgrounds.
Other speakers at the occasion also commended Rep. Amos for his consistent support for academic excellence and youth advancement, as well as his support for the education and youth development initiatives of the Kaduna State Government under Governor Uba Sani.
As part of efforts to recognise and encourage the outstanding scholars, Rep. Amos extended financial support to each of the four First-Class graduates.
He urged the graduates to remain committed to excellence and use the knowledge and skills acquired to contribute meaningfully to the development of society.
The lawmaker said the gesture was informed by his belief that excellence should be recognised and that investing in talented young people remains one of the most effective ways of building the human capital needed for a stronger Kaduna State and Nigeria.
