The member representing Jema’a/Sanga Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Daniel Amos, has fulfilled his pledge to support Operation Fulaku, a Fulani-based security collaborative network, with two Bajaj motorcycles to strengthen efforts to combat insecurity in Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

Amos made the pledge during a courtesy visit to Sub-sector 71, Operation Enduring Peace, Sanga, on Saturday, October 17, 2026, ahead of a peace and security summit organised by the security formation.

The motorcycles were formally presented on Sunday, October 18, at his constituency office in Kafanchan by Hon. Samuel Isah, a Senior Legislative Aide to the lawmaker, on his behalf, to representatives of the Fulani community for use in supporting their collaboration with Sub-sector 71, Operation Enduring Peace.

According to Amos, his commitment to peace and security across Jema’a/Sanga Federal Constituency informed the decision to provide the motorcycles to enhance the operational capacity of the local security network, particularly in Gwantu and its surrounding communities.

He explained that the intervention was intended to strengthen security surveillance, facilitate timely information gathering and support other non-kinetic approaches to preventing crime and promoting peaceful coexistence.

“Securing our communities requires more than the efforts of security agencies alone; it demands trust, cooperation and active participation by local communities,” Amos said.

He added that empowering community-based security networks to work effectively with security agencies would strengthen early-warning mechanisms, encourage constructive engagement and complement ongoing efforts to protect lives and property.

The lawmaker reaffirmed his commitment to supporting practical initiatives aimed at advancing peace, unity and security across Gwantu, its environs and the entire Jema’a/Sanga Federal Constituency.
He also urged community leaders, security agencies and other stakeholders to sustain the spirit of partnership in the collective pursuit of a safer society.

The donation comes amid ongoing efforts by security agencies and community stakeholders to address insecurity and strengthen peaceful coexistence among farmers, herders and other residents of Sanga Local Government Area.
