Fraternal greetings to you and the entire PDP family in Kaduna State.
As we inch closer to the 2024 party congresses and jostle for the chairmanship seat of the PDP in Kaduna State, our charter involves gathering, not scattering, persuasion not threat, issues not tantrums, courage not fear, alliances not conspiracies, love not hate, and most importantly, a compelling story of loyalty and service to our party and its leaders not that of entitlement.
For many years, we have been in the trenches with the old, with our women, and with the youths, fighting for the restoration of those glorious days of the PDP in Kaduna State, and the outcome of the 2023 general elections, therefore, is testament to our collective resolve in this regard. We must never settle for less, ever again, and it is for this reason that I seek to represent you all as state chairman.
I’m certainly not the best among you, but I share in the best of your intentions for the party, which is to consolidate on the successes of the PDP in 2023 and ultimately return it to Sir Kashim Ibrahim House come 2027.
I’m in this race for you and can do it for and with you. I will translate every of your wishes and aspirations into actions that will unite and propel the PDP to victory at all levels. It is not a mere political statement; it is a wholehearted commitment.
At age 36, I’m definitely a youth with every drop of energy to aggressively pursue our party’s goals, but I also possess the emotional intelligence necessary to combine the dynamic energy of the young and the enviable wisdom of the elderly to keep the party united and position it for victory in every contest.
Although a youth, it is not my motivation for being in this race. I’m in it because I love this party, and I have the capacity and capability to effectively harness our potentials and mobilise members to success. I’m in the race to serve you.
If you trust me with this position, I promise to be humble, listen to your counsels, and act justly, without fear or favour. I will entrench internal democracy in the party and ensure discipline at all levels. I will NEVER work against your interests or raise a fist against the elders, the youths, or women, but unite you all and ensure that mandate thieves do not get away with our mandate anymore. I will be the nightmare of mandate thieves.
