Security Forces under the auspices of Operation Safe Haven, today, 10th February, 2025 neutralized 3 armed bandits, rescued 3 kidnapped victims and recovered 26 Cattles and 6 Sheep during an operation in Libere forest- Sabon Hida and Agwan Awalu in Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
“The success record is the outcome of strategic planning and military intervention in the general area,” said the Chief of Defense Staff, General Christopher Gwabin Musa.
Adding that, “It is to the best interest of other bandits who are still in this ruinous business to give up, because of our unwavering determination to take the fight to their hideouts. “
The recent history of kauru is marred by insecurity: kurmi, kumana, kusheka, kuguata, ungwan Babangida, Libere, kitanda, etc, are infested by bandits.
