PDP Chairman, Gideon Jock, Others Pay Final Respects to Late Senator Caleb Zagi

The remains of former Senator Caleb Zagi were laid to rest in his hometown of Kagarko, in Kagarko Local Government Area of Kaduna State, in a solemn ceremony attended by political leaders, associates, and members of the public.

Senator Zagi, who passed away at the age of 65, represented the Kaduna South Senatorial District in the National Assembly from May 29, 2007, to May 29, 2011. He was widely respected for his leadership and contributions to the development of Southern Kaduna.

Among the dignitaries present at the funeral service held at ECWA Church No. 1, Kagarko, was the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna State, Hon. Shugaba Edward Percy Masha. In his tribute, Masha described the late senator as “a compassionate and trustworthy man” whose legacy of service will continue to inspire.

Also present was Hon. Gideon Jock( the Hasken Jaba), who praised Senator Zagi’s resilience and exemplary work ethic. “He was an asset to the political family in Southern Kaduna, and he will be missed greatly,” Jock stated.

Other political associates, including party stakeholders from the political divides, who echoed similar sentiments, highlighting Zagi’s dedication to justice, peace, and community development.

The funeral served as both a farewell and a celebration of a life devoted to public service, and unity.
