Secretary to the Kaduna State Government and presidential ministerial nominee, Balarabe Abbas Lawal from Kaduna State fainted during his screening on Wednesday, 4th October, 2023 at the Senate in Abuja.
He slump when Sen. Marshal Katung representing Southern Kaduna Senatorial District was about to field questions to him in a widely televised session.
At the time of filing this report, Gurara Accord did not ascertain the condition that led to his collapsed. For hindsight, Lawal is the presidential nominee to replace the former governor of kaduna state, Mallam Nasiru el-Rufai who was disqualified by the Senate.
