Hon. Daniel Amos, Member representing Jema’a/Sanga Federal Constituency, has flagged off the 4th edition of the Daniel Amos Annual Medical Outreach at Sir Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa Memorial Hospital, Kafanchan.

Speaking at the ceremony, which had Governor Uba Sani as Chairman of the occasion, Amos said the programme reflects his commitment to improving access to quality healthcare for residents of Jema’a and Sanga.

He recalled that the outreach, which began three years ago, was created to bridge gaps in healthcare access for underserved communities. He noted that previous editions provided consultations, medications, surgeries, and other medical interventions to thousands who could not afford care.

Amos described the 4th edition as the “most ambitious so far,” revealing that the programme targets 1,200 general surgeries, 400 eye surgeries, and the distribution of 3,000 eyeglasses across ward
