Beneficiaries of the 2022–2023 and 2023–2024 scholarship schemes sponsored by Senator Sunday Marshall Katung have expressed appreciation for his continued investment in education and youth empowerment in Southern Kaduna.
In a message conveyed through the senator’s aide and secretary, the students described the scholarship initiative as a “beacon of hope” that has eased their financial burden and enabled them to pursue academic excellence. They noted that although they were unable to meet the senator in person during their visit, they were eager to ensure their gratitude reached him.
The beneficiaries praised Senator Katung for his consistent support for young people and his commitment to the development of the senatorial zone. They said his selfless contributions have inspired them to work harder in their academic pursuits.
They prayed for God’s blessings upon the senator, describing him as an exemplary leader whose dedication to Southern Kaduna continues to impact lives positively.
Senator Katung Scholarship Scheme, run through the Marshall Katung Foundation (MKF), provides financial assistance to indigent undergraduate students from the eight Local Government Areas (LGAs) of the Kaduna South Senatorial District. 400 students benefited from the scholarship scheme this year.
