A long-serving missionary with the Sudan Interior Mission (SIM) and the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA), Mr Peter Fretheim, has offered prayers for success and victory for Nigeria’s Minister of Defence, General Christopher Gwabin Musa (rtd), and for the nation at large.
Fretheim, who has spent over 28 years in missionary service in Jos, Plateau State, said Nigeria would overcome the insecurity bedevilling the country, urging citizens to remain steadfast, prayerful, and committed to seeking the face of God for national healing and peace.
According to him, collective faith, unity, and perseverance are critical as the country confronts its security challenges. He expressed confidence that with divine intervention and responsible leadership, Nigeria would emerge stronger.
Over the past 28 years, Fretheim has been deeply involved in humanitarian and development work across Nigeria, providing support to orphans, street children, victims of leprosy, widows, and other vulnerable groups. His interventions have included access to food, clothing, medical care, employment opportunities, and psychosocial support, offering hope to thousands of impoverished Nigerians.
Fretheim, an author and a father of four, is widely respected for his commitment to social justice, compassion, and faith-based service, particularly in Plateau State and surrounding communities.
He reaffirmed his belief in Nigeria’s potential for peace and progress, calling on leaders and citizens alike to work together for a secure and prosperous future.
