Rep. Daniel Amos, the member representing Jema’a/Sanga Federal Constituency, has donated a brand-new ambulance to the Federal University of Applied Sciences (FUAS), Kachia, to strengthen the institution’s healthcare and emergency response capacity.
The ambulance was formally handed over to the university by a delegation led by the lawmaker’s Senior Legislative Aide, Hon. Samuel Isah Shamaki, who presented the vehicle’s keys and documents to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Quirix William Barnabas.
Speaking at the handover, Hon. Shamaki said the donation reflects Rep. Amos’ commitment to education and student welfare, stressing the importance of timely medical intervention in academic institutions.
Receiving the ambulance, Prof. Barnabas thanked the lawmaker for the gesture, describing it as a vital asset that would enhance emergency response and improve safety across the university community.
