Hon. Daniel Amos, the member representing Jema’a/Sanga Federal Constituency, has distributed food items to constituents observing the Ramadan and Lenten seasons as part of efforts to support families during the period of fasting and spiritual reflection.

The gesture, according to the lawmaker, is aimed at encouraging compassion, unity and support for people observing the sacred periods in both the Islamic and Christian faiths, which are traditionally marked by prayer, sacrifice and charity.

Representing Hon. Amos at the distribution exercise, his Senior Legislative Aide, Hon. Samuel Isah Shamaki, conveyed the lawmaker’s goodwill to the beneficiaries. He said the intervention reflects Amos’ belief that leadership should be driven by empathy and a strong connection to the needs of the people.

The event was attended by political stakeholders including Alhaji Isiyaka Abdullahi Ladan, the APC Chairman in Jema’a LGA, Hon. Amos Samaila, and his counterpart from Sanga LGA, alongside other party leaders and associates who supported the outreach.

Beneficiaries expressed appreciation for the support, describing it as timely and helpful during the fasting period. They also offered prayers for the lawmaker, commending his continued commitment to the welfare of people in Jema’a and Sanga local government areas.

The initiative, observers say, highlights Hon. Amos’ ongoing efforts to promote the wellbeing of his constituents while reinforcing the values of compassion and communal support associated with Ramadan and Lent.
