Hon. Daniel Amos and Senator Sunday Marshall Katung have formally declared their intention to seek re-election in the 2027 general elections following the purchase of their Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms.

Amos, who represents Jema’a/Sanga Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, and Katung, the Senator representing Kaduna South Senatorial District, described the move as a significant step in the democratic process and a reaffirmation of their commitment to public service.

In a joint statement, the lawmakers said the purchase of the forms goes beyond a routine political procedure, noting that it underscores their dedication to responsive governance, grassroots engagement, and delivering measurable impact across their constituencies.

They emphasized that their decision to seek another mandate is anchored on sustaining ongoing development efforts while expanding initiatives aimed at inclusive growth and effective representation.

The duo further pledged to deepen institutional representation and continue advancing the collective aspirations of their constituents if re-elected in 2027.
