Dr. Gideon Jock, Mai Solar, has expressed profound sorrow over the death of former Kaduna State Commissioner, banker, and public affairs analyst, Dr. Isuwa Dogo, who passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2026, in Lagos.
In a condolence message, Dr. Mai Solar described the late Dogo as a distinguished professional and statesman whose contributions to banking, technology, governance, and public discourse left a lasting impact on Kaduna State and Nigeria.
According to him, Dr. Dogo was a respected Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stakeholder, a visionary in technology, and a trusted voice on national issues, known for his insightful analyses and commitment to truth and good governance.
“Dr. Isuwa Dogo was a rare blend of intellect, service, and patriotism. He spoke truth to power with courage, clarity, and civility, always anchored on facts and the good of the people,” Mai Solar stated. He noted that the deceased possessed a unique ability to navigate diverse fields, from finance and technology to governance and public communication, using his expertise to advance national development and enlighten citizens.
Reflecting on his passing, Mai Solar said Dr. Dogo died peacefully after returning from his routine morning walk, describing it as “a peaceful exit for a man who lived a purposeful life.”
The former commissioner’s death, he said, represents a significant loss to his family, the PDP, Ham nation, Kaduna State, and the nation at large.
“We have lost a bridge-builder, a thinker, and a committed servant-leader whose counsel many of us relied on,” he added.
Dr. Mai Solar extended his condolences to the deceased’s wife, children, siblings, and associates, praying for strength and comfort for all those grieving the loss.
He also urged members of the PDP and the people of Kaduna State to celebrate the late Dogo’s legacy of service, scholarship, and sacrifice, noting that his contributions to governance, banking, technology, and public enlightenment would continue to inspire future generations.
