Distinguished Senator Sunday Marshall Katung, representing Kaduna South Senatorial District, on Tuesday met with Mr. Ayi Mohammed, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Ikon Allah Football Academy, Kaduna, to explore opportunities for youth football development in Southern Kaduna.
Ikon Allah Football Academy is widely regarded as one of Nigeria’s leading grassroots football development centres, known for identifying and nurturing young talents who have gone on to play for top clubs in Europe and other parts of the world.
The meeting focused on establishing a strategic partnership aimed at strengthening grassroots sports development across Southern Kaduna. Discussions centred on talent scouting, improving training facilities, and creating clear pathways for young footballers in the region to pursue professional careers.
The initiative is part of Senator Katung’s broader commitment to youth empowerment and sports development within the district.
