The Co-founder of RADi, Alheri Magaji described one of the survivors of Gonan Rogo attack by bandits, Isaiah Jonathan as one of the success stories of the humanitarian organisation. Magaji made it known  through her Facebook account while celebrating Usaiah on his 8 years birthday.
In a blow-by-blow account of the evil that befell Gonan Rogo, Reuben Buhari, a member of RADi, narrated, thus, his family went to bed after eating their evening meal but around midnight on Tuesday, May 12, 2020, their village, Gonan Rogo in Kajuru LGA was attacked.  His father was killed, and his mother was killed too. Patience, 15, Revelation, 9, and Rejoice, 6,  all females, all siblings of Isaiah were killed too.
Isaiah and one sister, – Zipporah Jonathan survived the attack, but with multiple cuts. Their two-month-old baby brother, Isaac also survived 2 bullets that grazed his head and 1 through his arm.
Alheri Magaji and I saw them in the hospital when we went to see another victim. We took over their needs. Because we wanted them to have a good education we started sourcing for a donor, fortunately, we got a generous one and we put them in a very good boarding school. One of the best in Kaduna!
Then an angel called Bukola Asala Dare stepped in and took them in like her own children doing everything for them. Today Isaiah and his sister are doing very well.
