The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Kaduna State Chapter, has honoured three lawmakers at the 2025 press week, an annual event for what it described as effective and impactful representation of their constituents.
Those recognised at the colourful award ceremony held in Kaduna include Senator Lawal Usman Adamu (Mr. LA), representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District; Hon. Dan Amos, member of the House of Representatives representing Jema’a/Sanga Federal Constituency; and Hon. Munirat Tanimu Suleiman, Majority Leader of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, representing Lere East State Constituency.
Senator Lawal Usman Adamu was represented at the event by his Director-General and Liaison Officer, Hon. Yaron Kirki. Hon. Dan Amos was represented by Dr. Charles Bala Dyaji, while Hon. Munirat Tanimu Suleiman, the only female among the awardees, was represented by Caesar Dogara.
The NUJ Kaduna Chapter said the honours were in recognition of the lawmakers’ commitment to quality legislation, constituency engagement, and effective representation.
The award ceremony attracted journalists, political stakeholders, and members of the public, who commended the NUJ for promoting accountability and excellence in public service.
