Defence, Interior Ministers Meet to Strengthen Security Collaboration

The Minister of Defence, General Christopher Gwabin Musa (rtd), has paid a visit to the Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, to strengthen synergy and information sharing on national security matters.


The meeting focused on deepening collaboration between the two critical ministries, which jointly represent key pillars of Nigeria’s internal and external security architecture. Both ministers underscored the importance of coordinated strategies, intelligence sharing, and joint efforts to enhance peace, security, and sustainable development across the country.

They emphasized that effective information sharing between the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Interior is essential to safeguarding critical national assets and addressing emerging security challenges.


The engagement reaffirmed the commitment of both ministries to work closely together in advancing national security, creating a safe environment for development, and ensuring the protection of lives and property.
