Moro’a Chief, KADIRS Chair Visit Jama’a Emir Over Palace Fire Incident

The Chief of Moro’a, His Royal Highness Isiaku Tagwai Sambo, today, 28th February,  2026 a delegation to the palace of the Emir of Jama’a in Kafanchan, Jema’a Local Government Area of Kaduna State, to commiserate with the monarch over a recent fire incident that affected part of the palace.

The delegation, which included council members, the Chairman of the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS), Comrade Jerry Adams, and the Chairman of Kaura Local Government Area, Hon. Obadiah Sankyei, was received by the Emir of Jama’a, His Royal Highness Alhaji Muhammadu Isa Muhammadu II.

The visit followed a fire outbreak that occurred at the palace on Thursday night, destroying part of the historic structure.

Speaking during the visit, the delegation thanked God that no life was lost in the incident and prayed for divine restoration of the properties damaged by the fire. They also offered prayers for God’s protection to prevent a recurrence of such an incident in the future.

The Emir expressed appreciation for the show of solidarity and support, describing it as a reflection of unity and respect among traditional institutions and local government authorities in the area.
