The Southern Kaduna Lawyers Forum (SKLF) has expressed appreciation to the Chairman of its recent Roundtable Event, the Minister of Defence, General Christopher Gwabin Musa (rtd), alongside judges, Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SANs), guest speakers, panelists and other participants for their support and contributions to the programme.
In a statement issued by the Forum’s Executive Committee, the SKLF described the event as successful, assuring members and stakeholders that the resolutions reached during the roundtable would be implemented to advance the interests of Southern Kaduna and strengthen the Forum’s activities.
The Executive Committee also commended the Planning Committee, led by Dr. (Mrs.) Deborah Usman, for its commitment, hard work and sacrifices before, during and after the event, including the preparation of the communiqué.
The Forum further acknowledged individuals who made financial contributions towards the success of the programme. They include Senator Sunday Marshall Katung, representing Kaduna South Senatorial District; Hon. Amos Daniel, member of the House of Representatives; National President of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), Mr. Audu Titus Amba; Dr. (Mrs.) Deborah Usman; Executive Chairman of the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS), Mr. Jerry Adams; Senior Advocate of Nigeria and Walin Moro’a, Samuel Atung SAN; President of the National Industrial Court (NIC), Hon. Justice Benedict B. Kanyip; Kaduna State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Dr. James Kanyip; former Federal Permanent Secretary, Mr. Sule James; and Dr. Dyagas Jonathan, Director, ANOC.
The Forum said the support and generosity of the donors, as well as the participation of stakeholders, contributed significantly to the success of the roundtable and reaffirmed its commitment to promoting unity, justice and development in Southern Kaduna.
