Terrorists abduct three, injure one in Kajuru community

Suspected terrorists on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, attacked Ungwan Busa in Maro Ward of Kajuru Local Government Area, Kaduna State, abducting three residents and leaving one person with gunshot injuries.
According to reports, the assailants invaded the community and whisked away three members of the community during the attack.
The victims identified as kidnapped are Grace Patrick, 38; Hassanna Patrick, 28; and Salina Patrick, 2.
A 35-year-old resident, Mr. Maichibi Danfwari, sustained gunshot injuries during the incident and is currently receiving medical treatment.
The latest attack adds to the growing security concerns in Kajuru and other parts of Southern Kaduna, where residents have continued to face recurring incidents of banditry and kidnappings.
Community members have appealed for prayers and urgent security intervention to ensure the safe rescue of the abducted victims and prevent further attacks in the area.
