The Executive Chairman of Jema’a Local Government Council, Hon. Peter Tanko Dogara, has approved the appointment of a Special Adviser on Stakeholder Relations and 64 Special Assistants as part of efforts to strengthen governance, promote grassroots participation, and improve service delivery across the local government.
According to a statement signed by the Council Secretary, Hon. Dr. Danbala Usman, Mr. Jerome Mutuah Labari was appointed as Special Adviser on Stakeholder Relations, while 64 others were named Special Assistants to support the administration in policy implementation, community mobilisation, programme monitoring, public engagement, and grassroots feedback.
The council said the appointments are aimed at fostering an inclusive and responsive administration capable of delivering sustainable development across communities in Jema’a Local Government Area.
As Special Adviser on Stakeholder Relations, Labari is expected to coordinate engagement with traditional rulers, community leaders, political stakeholders, youth and women groups, civil society organisations, and development partners to strengthen collaboration and promote dialogue for the development of the area.
Hon. Dogara said the appointments reflect his administration’s commitment to inclusive governance and effective service delivery, urging the appointees to discharge their responsibilities with integrity, discipline, diligence, loyalty, and dedication to public service.
The chairman also commended Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, for his continued support to local government administration, attributing many of the developmental projects being executed in Jema’a to the governor’s people-centred policies and commitment to grassroots development.
He noted that ongoing interventions in infrastructure, healthcare, education, agriculture, rural electrification, youth and women empowerment, social welfare, and institutional strengthening were made possible through the support of the state government.
Dogara expressed the appreciation of the council and the people of Jema’a Local Government to Governor Uba Sani for what he described as his inclusive leadership and pledged the council’s continued cooperation in implementing the Kaduna State Government’s development agenda.
He congratulated the newly appointed Special Adviser and Special Assistants, reminding them that public office is a trust that requires accountability, commitment, and dedication to advancing peace, unity, and sustainable development across the local government.
