Dr Deborah Usman, Esq., Founder of the Deborah Usman Foundation, has held a thanksgiving service to express gratitude to God following her successful election as President of the Southern Kaduna Lawyers Forum.
The thanksgiving was held at Restoration Bible Church, where the church’s presiding minister, Rev. Tunde Balanta, received Dr Usman and her entourage and offered prayers and words of wisdom.
Speaking during the occasion, Dr Usman thanked God for the gift of life, His faithfulness and the successful outcome of the election.
She said the occasion was an opportunity to return all glory to God and seek divine guidance as she begins her tenure as President of the Southern Kaduna Lawyers Forum.
Dr Usman noted that the words of Rev. Balanta reminded her that “every victory is a responsibility, and every elevation is a call to greater service.”
She expressed confidence that God would grant her the wisdom, strength and direction required to serve effectively in her new position.
Dr Usman, who is also known by the titles Jakadiyan Jaba, Jarumar Jama’a and Vayir A Ninzo, pledged to approach her new responsibility with humility, dedication and a commitment to service.
