Ahead of the 2027 general elections, Hon. Haliru Dangana, member representing Sanga Constituency in the Kaduna State House of Assembly, is set to intensify grassroots mobilisation efforts to strengthen the All Progressives Congress (APC) across the local government area.
Sources familiar with the development disclosed that Dangana is scheduled to meet with party leaders and key grassroots stakeholders in Sanga Local Government Area on Friday, October 16, 2026.
The meeting is expected to bring together more than 400 selected grassroots mobilisers and community leaders drawn from across the local government area.
The engagement is aimed at galvanising party members and strengthening grassroots support for the APC ahead of the forthcoming elections. The lawmaker is also expected to provide financial assistance to facilitate mobilisation efforts and other party-related activities.
Political observers in Sanga LGA and the wider zone have described the planned engagement as a potentially significant step towards consolidating the party’s grassroots structure. If successfully implemented, the initiative could represent a notable milestone in grassroots political mobilisation in the area.
Confirming the development, Hon. Tanko Rossi Sabo, an APC stalwart from Sanga LGA, said the planned meeting would mark the beginning of the party’s preparations for the 2027 general elections.
According to Sabo, the initiative is expected to lay the foundation for the APC’s electoral success in the presidential, National Assembly, governorship and State House of Assembly elections in Sanga LGA and beyond.
