Kachia LGA Flags Off Construction of Rural Road Projects

The Chairman of Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Dr. Manzo Maigari, has flagged off the construction of road projects linking the communities of Assako, Ung Popo, Ung Mai Chibi and Gumel.

Speaking at the flag-off ceremony on Tuesday, Dr. Maigari said the intervention aligns with the rural transformation agenda of Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, which prioritises grassroots infrastructure as a catalyst for inclusive growth and sustainable development.
He noted that improved road connectivity would boost economic activities, strengthen social cohesion and enhance access to essential services for residents of the benefiting communities.

Dr. Maigari reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to people-centred and sustainable development, assuring stakeholders that the projects would be executed in strict compliance with approved standards and completed within the stipulated timelines.

He commended traditional institutions, community leaders and residents for their cooperation and support, describing their partnership as crucial to the successful delivery of development initiatives across Kachia Local Government Area.

According to him, the council remains committed to implementing impactful projects that will improve livelihoods, stimulate local economies and promote long-term development in the area.
