The Minister of Defence, General Christopher Gwabin Musa (rtd), on Monday in Abuja presented copies of his newly launched book, titled “The Military Iconic Leader of Our Time” to the Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas.

The presentation took place on the sidelines of an interactive section in the Federal Capital Territory and formed part of activities following the recent public unveiling of the book, which chronicles General Musa’s life, military service, and leadership journey in Nigeria’s armed forces.

Speaking at the brief meeting, General Musa said the book documents his professional experiences, challenges, and lessons learned over decades of service to the nation, with a focus on leadership, patriotism, and commitment to national unity.

According to him, the publication is intended to inspire young Nigerians, particularly those in the military and security sector, to embrace discipline, sacrifice, and service to the country.

“This book reflects not just my personal story, but the collective efforts of the Nigerian Armed Forces in safeguarding our nation. I hope it will serve as a source of motivation for future leaders and officers,” the Defence Minister said.

Governor Uba Sani, while receiving his copy, commended General Musa for what he described as a remarkable contribution to national history and leadership literature. He noted that the book would provide valuable insights into Nigeria’s security architecture and the role of the military in nation-building.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, also praised the initiative, describing the book as a timely documentation of the career of one of Nigeria’s prominent military leaders. He said such works help preserve institutional memory and promote a better understanding of leadership within the armed forces.
