The Managing Director of the Kaduna State Enterprise Development Agency (KADEDA), Mr. Anthony Iliya Timbuark, has announced the commencement of the second edition of the agency’s Bible Quiz Competition, underscoring the importance of spiritual development among children.

Speaking on the initiative, Timbuark noted that nurturing the spiritual growth of young people remains a critical responsibility, adding that the competition is designed to inspire a deeper understanding and love for the Word of God.

He recalled that the maiden edition of the quiz was marked by enthusiasm and healthy competition, with participants leaving more motivated to study the Bible. According to him, the exercise fostered a sense of inclusiveness, as “there were no losers—everyone was a winner.”

The KADEDA boss stated that this year’s edition promises to be bigger and more impactful, building on the successes recorded previously.

He further disclosed that the Bible Quiz Competition is the agency’s second major programme of the year, following its JAMB scholarship initiative. Under the scheme, over 400 young people were sponsored to sit for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), with more than 250 candidates successfully meeting the required cut-off marks for admission.

Timbuark called on stakeholders and the general public to continue supporting the initiative, emphasizing the need for collective efforts in guiding and inspiring the younger generation. He also appealed for prayers to ensure the success of the programme.
