The Executive Chairman of Zango Kataf Local Government Area, Hon. Engr. Bege Joseph Gaiya, has distributed fertilizer to farmers across the council’s 11 political wards as part of efforts to boost agricultural productivity and enhance food security.
The fertilizer distribution is aimed at supporting farmers, considering agriculture remains the primary source of livelihood for many residents of the local government.
According to a statement issued on Monday by the Sardaunan Ikulu Fans Movement (SIF), Zango Kataf Chapter, the initiative reflects the chairman’s commitment to improving the welfare of the people and promoting sustainable agricultural development.
The group also noted that Engr. Gaiya’s leadership has been influenced by his mentor, TPL. Dr. Ismail Yusuf Ashafa, the Sardaunan Ikulu, describing the chairman as someone who is passionate about positively impacting lives across Zango Kataf and Kaduna State.
The movement commended the chairman for placing the interests of the people above personal considerations and urged him to remain focused on delivering good governance despite criticisms from opponents.
The statement further offered prayers for the chairman’s continued success in office.
