Leaders, elected representatives, community elders and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency have reaffirmed their commitment to unity, grassroots engagement and collective action for the development of the constituency.
The stakeholders made the commitment at a meeting convened by the member representing Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Fidelix Joseph Bagudu.
The meeting centred on unity, dialogue, reconciliation, grassroots mobilisation and collective responsibility in building a stronger and more inclusive constituency.
Addressing the gathering, Bagudu urged stakeholders to place the welfare and interests of constituents above personal interests, while encouraging them to resolve disagreements through constructive dialogue and mutual respect.
He also called for sustained engagement with communities across all wards and polling units to strengthen communication between political representatives and constituents.
Bagudu expressed appreciation to Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, for what he described as his commitment to fairness, inclusion and creating opportunities for constituents.
The stakeholders reaffirmed their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Uba Sani, Senator Shehu Sani, Hon. Fidelix Joseph Bagudu and Hon. Jesse David Tanko, representing the constituency in the Kaduna State House of Assembly.
They also committed to promoting unity of purpose, constructive dialogue and reconciliation, grassroots engagement across all wards and polling units, sustained coordination among stakeholders, and continued support for APC leadership and its programmes.
The stakeholders commended Bagudu for convening the meeting and pledged to strengthen cooperation, communication and grassroots organisation across Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency.
The meeting ended with a call for greater collaboration among political and community leaders towards advancing the interests and development of the constituency.
