The All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council will flag off its campaign for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Kaduna on October 24, 2026.

The Director-General of the Council, Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar, announced this in a press statement, calling on party members, leaders, coordinators and supporters to mobilise for the event.

Yari said the Kaduna rally would mark the beginning of a nationwide campaign that would cover all 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory.

He urged Nigerians to support Tinubu’s re-election bid, arguing that the administration needed another four-year term to complete its ongoing reforms and enable citizens to enjoy their full benefits.

According to him, the President has taken difficult decisions that previous administrations avoided, adding that Nigerians have shared in the burden of the resulting reforms.

“We owe it to them to make sure the reforms are completed and they see the full benefit. That is why we are asking for four more years,” Yari said.

The former Zamfara State governor called on party members, political leaders, campaign coordinators and young Nigerians who support the administration to attend the Kaduna rally.

He said the Council was targeting a large turnout to demonstrate the party’s readiness for the forthcoming political contest, while emphasising the need for a peaceful event.
Yari also directed state chapters and support groups to begin mobilisation immediately and work closely with the Council’s secretariat to ensure effective coordination.

He stressed that the party’s electoral strategy would focus on grassroots mobilisation, urging supporters to work in every ward and polling unit and engage voters on the reasons Tinubu’s administration deserves another term.
“Kaduna is where that work begins for us,” he said.
