The first-ever Fire Convocation will commence in Kafanchan, Southern Kaduna, on Thursday, October 15, 2026, bringing together Christians from across the Middle Belt and minority Christian communities in Northern Nigeria for spiritual renewal, fellowship and discussions on the region’s future.

The three-day gathering, scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m., is being organised under the spiritual leadership of Apostle Dr. Emmanuel Nuhu Kure of Throneroom Trust Ministry and will climax on Saturday morning, October 17.

According to a press statement issued by Kure, the convocation seeks to strengthen unity among Christians across the region while encouraging constructive engagement on issues affecting the Middle Belt.

Beyond its spiritual objectives, the gathering is expected to provide a platform for participants to discuss a common vision for the region, with emphasis on solidarity, inclusive governance and collective action.

A major feature of the programme will be breakout sessions addressing critical challenges confronting communities across the Middle Belt.

The discussions will cover insecurity, displacement, religious freedom, spiritual revival, community development, youth empowerment, political participation and inclusive governance.

The convocation will also feature a Bonfire Night, offering participants an opportunity for prayer, fellowship and spiritual reflection.
Kure said the inaugural gathering was intended to encourage conversations and collective action towards shaping the future of the Middle Belt, while promoting cooperation across ethnic, denominational and political divides.

The convocation comes amid continuing concerns over insecurity, justice, inclusion and sustainable development in communities across the region.

It is expected to bring together Christians from different backgrounds to identify shared priorities and strengthen solidarity in addressing the challenges facing their communities.

The Fire Convocation will also serve as a prelude to the International Prophecy Conference scheduled for October 26–30, 2026, at Throneroom Camp.

The forthcoming conference is expected to provide another platform for spiritual engagement, prophetic ministry and discussions on what organisers describe as the pursuit of God’s purpose for individuals, communities and the region.

According to the statement, the broader objective of the gatherings is to translate spiritual renewal into purposeful engagement, responsible leadership and sustained efforts towards building a more peaceful, secure and prosperous Middle Belt.
