A member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Dan Amos, has called on Nigerians to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, in recognition of the development strides recorded under their leadership.
Hon. Amos made the remarks while speaking as a guest at the 2025 Kafanchan Day Annual Cultural Festival.
He noted that the prevailing peace being enjoyed during festive periods, particularly Christmas celebrations, was unprecedented in recent years.
According to him, for a long time, Christmas celebrations in the area were often characterised by rancour and tension, a situation he said has significantly changed.
“For a long time, we have not celebrated Christmas without rancour. The peace we are witnessing today shows that deliberate efforts are being made by the government to promote unity and security,” he said.
He urged residents to sustain peaceful coexistence and continue supporting government policies and programmes aimed at consolidating security, unity, and development at both state and national levels.
