Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani, CON, has received the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, GCON, PhD, alongside members of the Kaduna State Caucus of the House of Representatives, following his investiture as Governor of the Year 2025 by Leadership Newspaper Media Group.
The delegation paid a congratulatory visit to the governor after the award ceremony held in recognition of his administration’s achievements in governance and development.
Speaking during the visit, Governor Uba Sani expressed appreciation to the Speaker and members of the caucus for what he described as their show of solidarity and partnership. He noted that the award was not a personal achievement but a collective honour for the people of Kaduna State.
According to the governor, the recognition reflects the resilience of Kaduna citizens, their confidence in democratic governance, and their commitment to a safer and more prosperous future.
“This award belongs to the people of Kaduna State. It represents our shared pursuit of inclusive development, institutional stability and sustainable economic growth,” he said.
Governor Uba Sani also commended the cooperation between the executive and legislative arms of government, stating that their synergy has strengthened the state’s capacity to implement meaningful reforms and deliver tangible progress.
He further expressed satisfaction with the level of unity within the ruling party in Kaduna State, describing it as a source of confidence and inspiration for citizens to embrace a common vision of service, stability and development.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives and members of the Kaduna caucus congratulated the governor on the award and reaffirmed their commitment to supporting policies and programmes aimed at improving the welfare of the people of Kaduna State.
